The small flowers range from white to pink to red depending on the plant. Flowers and leaves are dried and used medicinally. Motherwort may be best known for its use in conditions affecting women. It is a useful relaxing tonic for aiding in menopausal changes. Motherwort helps regulate menstruation and as a relaxant and anti-depressant for premenstrual syndrome with delayed menses.
